A joint project of recycling porous asphalt mixture with
ANAS (the former Italy Highway Public Corporation) was
realized in demonstration on a road in Italy.
In a speech at an environment-related international conference
held at United Nations University on September 17, 2004,
Mr. Pozzi, President of ANAS- the co-partner of the project,
highly appreciated the result of the demonstration and
referred to this as being the first success of hot in-place
recycling project on the porous asphalt road on such a
large scale. The demonstration of the project was widely
reported by Italian news-media.
