Time-Saving Road Recycler Train
―――Shipped First to China by Green ARM
Green ARM Co., Ltd (Hisashi Hosokawa/CEO, Tokyo), commissioning Hitachi Construction
Machinery Co., Ltd for manufacturing, has developed a train of equipment units
to recycle road asphalt in a short time. The first train was already shipped
to Heibei in China. Green ARM’s strategy is to market its products overseas
first, then sell them in Japan.
Canadian company, Martec Recycling Corporation originally developed the method
of hot-in-place asphalt recycling and applied it to the train named “AR2000
SUPER RECYCLER.” Green ARM obtained the exclusive rights from Martec for the
manufacture and sales of the AR2000 Super Recycler throughout Japan and the
ASEAN region.
The train of the AR2000 composed of 4 units moves on road. The first two units
soften asphalt surface with hot air, followed by the third to remove it for
milling and the fourth to mix it thoroughly with added new asphalt for lay-down.
Treating softened asphalt can reduce working noise.
The price of 4 units, enable to move 5m per minute and repave about 3 km a
day, is around \350 million. Green ARM expects to hit the sales target of \1
billion for the first year.
